Community Safety Update- Wandle Meadow and North Road Police Response

Dear Residents,

The Wandle Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has recently carried out a proactive weapon sweep in the local area. During the search, officers located syringes and other drug-related paraphernalia near the bench at Wandle Meadow and underneath the bridge on North Road.

The area continues to be regularly patrolled by officers on foot and in marked vehicles as part of ongoing efforts to deter antisocial behaviour and provide reassurance to residents.

Earlier in the week, officers also conducted a stop and search, which resulted in one arrest for possession of controlled substances.

We remain committed to maintaining a visible presence in the area and responding to concerns raised by the community.
